Mimic (Original)
This picture is very racist , however, the first time you look at it the insults are not visible. Th image is called 'Mimic' because the man on the left is mimicking the Asian mans eyes while also putting up a middle finger. This is a very effective way of showing the mentality of races towards each other and that it was "ok" to say/act like that. Despite the racism in the image, there are many different techniques used, which are mentioned in the edited picture below.
Mimic (Edited)
Analysis:
This picture is a great example of a picture with many different effects in it. One of the techniques that has been used includes Rule of Thirds; as we can see that there are things on the intersection of the grid like the men's faces and their crotch area. The Leading Lines in the picture make us look to a certain point, like the horizon or the legs of the two people on the right. Triangles are also being used which helps to show a central point of the picture; in this picture the triangle is focusing on the men's eyes and the shadow behind them. Another interesting technique used is Figure in Ground . This is best represented by the woman as she has bright white and red clothes on and she is in front of a dark shadowed wall. This can also link to the recurring theme of red in the picture. The last technique I've found is Curves, it's the same as leading lines except the curve is leading the viewer to the man on the left.

Untangling (Edited)
This picture is another great example of a picture with many different effects in it. One of the techniques that has been used includes Rule of Thirds; as we can see that there are things on the intersection of the grid like the ropes and the shelves. The Leading Lines in the picture make us look to a certain point, like The ceiling or the men. Triangles are also being used which helps to show a central point of the picture; in this picture the triangle is focusing on the men's eyes and the rope on the floor. Another interesting technique used is Figure in Ground . This is can be seen with the blue clothes the man on the left is wearing and the red shelves behind him.
